Not a chick flick !!!

Increasingly these days, if I ask any one,over some animated discussion over some flick, "how did you like movie A", I receive the answer "that is too slow".
Slow -- these are some of the movies i like best. They are some of the movies which give me a perspective, or make me value various things in life. These movies surely don't provide one shot solution to the questions which keep hounding me. May be there is no such solution to these problems (who knows) . And even if there is one, there is no way of knowing whether the solution is absolute, or just solution in the pool of thousand others.
So while watching those movies, I simply enjoy wearing the spectacles which the director wants me to wear, and see if I would like to wear them forever, or just immediately remove them for they don't match the ones which I am already wearing. Whatever may be the case, by the time the complete movie is over, I enjoy taking a side. Now after all this mulling, if anyone comes and say, this movie was too slow for them, I don't know what were they looking for in that movie. If they wanted to see some cute, cuddly, mushy flick or quick popcorn movie, they are slew of such movies being churned out each year. So why confuse yourself, just pick the right movie which suits the taste and the occasion, instead of forming a opinion about these movie so quickly. The movies which I am talking about don't provide the solution in the end but makes the process of finding your own easy. In the more cliche words they make the journey to find a solution as good as the solution.
Hope people understand it before the next time I see my face becoming oblongated in the middle of one such curious discussions or I end up pitying them for what they think :)
